The JRC JQE-103
406 MHz Satellite EPIRB (Emergency Position Indicating Radio
Beacon) will emit an emergency signal when tossed into the
sea or released from bracket in distress. The
COSPAS/SARSAT satellite receives the signal and relays it to
the Local User's' Terminal with location for rescue efforts.
