The casino is able to operate over 300 radios on just 4 repeaters. TDMA technology allows 1 digital repeater to act like 2 analog repeaters so 8 analog repeater equivalent. The repeaters are linked over an IP network via a switch.
Portable radios are able to communicate with mobile radios housed in buses and other vehicles which operate throughout the property, as well as base station radios strategically located through the casino such as security podiums.
Each radio has an emergency button enabled which allows a signal to be transmitted to the casino's management team if they require assistance. The emergency button alerts management of the radios users name so action can quickly be taken.
Select users have been granted access to use one to one calling so they can contact other users in a private, secure manner without the entire radio fleet hearing the conversation.
