Available on all Platinum Series products, the QD feature allows the user to quickly and easily attach and detach the accessory from the radio without detaching the UDC/Connector from the radio.This feature is particularly attractive when using multi-pin accessory connectors which are screwed down to the radio or when using retention brackets on single and dual pin jacks.Adapters are available for most radio makes and models.
