Two-Way Radio 12v Electronics Installer
Puget Sound Instrument – Orting, WA

Join a leading Motorola Solutions dealer in the Pacific Northwest! We are currently seeking an electronics installer to assist in the integration of Motorola MOTOTRBO systems, including CM300d mobile radios and XPR 5550e units.

Duties:

Install 12v land-mobile radio (LMR) systems, such as Motorola APX and XTL series, in vehicles and facilities Support installation of surveillance systems and infrastructure cabling Work on-site at locations including police departments, fire stations, and utility towers Collaborate with senior radio technicians on mounting and wiring VHF/UHF radios, antennas, and GPS modules Maintain clean, professional workspace and service company vehicles and tools Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with 12v installations (car audio, marine electronics, etc.) Familiarity with Motorola accessories such as PMMN microphones and RLN mounting kits a plus Strong teamwork, follow-through, and attention to detail Clean driving record and valid license Must supply basic hand tools (specialty tools provided) Career Path:

Inside Sales / Customer Service – Two-Way Radio

This role supports our extensive line of Motorola Solutions equipment, including MOTOTRBO, APX, and ION smart radios, along with over 70 partner product lines. You will work with customers to deliver complete communications solutions that include radios, repeaters, surveillance integrations, and dispatch consoles.

Responsibilities:

Assist customers with product selection including MOTOTRBO R7, TLK 100/150, and surveillance systems Manage orders in QuickBooks and ensure accurate product fulfillment Work closely with marketing to update website listings for Motorola equipment and accessories Develop new sales through web inquiries and returning customers Support the field team by coordinating demo gear and lead tracking Qualifications:

Experience with RF, two-way radios, or security electronics Strong verbal and written communication skills Understanding of Motorola products and QuickBooks or similar ERP tools Customer-first mindset with a team-oriented approach
Sales Representative / Account Manager – RF Communications

Help us expand our reach across the Puget Sound region. We're looking for a motivated outside sales representative to grow business in Motorola MOTOTRBO systems, APX radios, ICOM, and Vertex Standard product lines.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a regional sales territory focused on LMR and broadband push-to-talk solutions Engage customers in education, government, logistics, and utilities with Motorola Solutions packages Coordinate with project engineers on solutions involving Capacity Max, IP Site Connect, and AVTEC Scout consoles Drive business development efforts by identifying and closing large-scale radio and infrastructure deals Qualifications:

Proven background in technical or outside sales (RF or telecom experience highly preferred) Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage complex customer needs Strong command of Motorola portfolio including TLK broadband radios, dispatch systems, and R7 portables Excellent communication and presentation skills
Journeyman Land-Mobile Radio Technician
Puget Sound Instrument – Orting, WA

We are seeking a seasoned technician to support Motorola radio systems and infrastructure, including diagnostics, repair, alignment, and installations across the region. Work includes both conventional and trunked systems.

Responsibilities:

Install and troubleshoot VHF/UHF, 800/900 MHz digital/analog systems including MOTOTRBO and APX Deploy and optimize radio repeaters, antennas, base stations, and DAS/BDA systems Support remote and onsite maintenance including rotating on-call assignments Program and align Motorola devices using CPS and RM tools Experience & Certifications:

3–5 years of experience in two-way radio field service Knowledge of Motorola MOTOTRBO systems and subscriber units FCC GROL, CET, or similar certifications preferred Must possess a clean driving record and valid driver’s license
